New Council Youth Commissioner - Grace Lee

Dear Scouters,

It is my sincere pleasure to announce the appointment of Grace Lee as the Council Youth Commissioner for Greater Toronto Council, effective June 1st , 2014.Grace is finishing up high school and is set to attend the University of Toronto this fall. Grace has been a member of Scouting since Beaver Scouts and is a member of the 2nd Agincourt Venturer Company. Most recently Grace served as the Area Youth Commissioner in Agincourt Area. Grace has also been through the Scouts Canada Youth Spokesperson training program and was an outstanding representative at the 2014 Scouts Day on the Hill.

Grace has a strong leadership background in and out of Scouting. She is extremely driven, and works hard in her volunteer and academic pursuits. This will help her to be effective in Greater Toronto Council and as a member of the National Service Team.

I would like to take a moment and thank Sean Bow for his service as the Council Youth Commissioner in Greater Toronto Council. As his term comes to an end, please join me in wishing him well as he moves on to his next adventures, including attending the Mountain Adventure Skills program at the College of the Rockies.
