Rebecca Case, Appointed as co-DCC Marketing and Communications

Effective January 9th, Greater Toronto Council will have a co-Deputy Council Commissioner (co-DCC) arrangement for Marketing and Communications shared by Patricia Sparks and Rebecca Case.

Patricia has done an excellent job in this role over the last few years and her term is coming up to completion. She is helping support this co-DCC process in an effort to successfully transition this role.

Rebecca is a current member of the MarCom team. She has served in various Scouting leadership capacities such as Advisor of the 69th Toronto Venturer Company, as well as Group Commissioner, Section Key Leader and Volunteer leader for the 69th Toronto Scout Group. She has also been an organizer for the patrol team in the 2013 Canadian Jamboree along with serving on the social media team for the 2015 World Jamboree. She is currently a Mentor for the 1st University Rover Crew.

Rebecca is currently the Director of Marketing and Operations for the CW Group. Previously she was the Vice-President of Marketing for RCD Music and President of a technology consulting firm. Rebecca holds an MBA in Marketing from Schulich School of Business at York University.

This co-DCC arrangement will continue until May 1st at which time Rebecca will take on the full DCC role. Patricia has graciously offered to remain as a member of the MarCom team beyond this date and will help with other responsibilities as needed.
