Haliburton Scout Reserve boasts a beautiful 5,000 acre wilderness setting in Central Ontario’s Haliburton Highlands cottage country in the Canadian Shield. The 23 main campsites are located on the shores of our largest lake, Lake Kennabi.

- 13 lakes, with connecting rivers, streams and creeks are the home to numerous plants and animals, including several rare species of reptiles and amphibians.
- Trails varying in level of difficulty and distance for hiking and exploring.
- Various environmentally sensitive areas, including fens, bogs and marshes for ecological studies.
Summer Accommodations
- 23 back-country campsites along the shores of Lake Kennabi
- Numerous options for multiple night hiking and camping to back-country campsites on our other lakes, as well as other locations on the property

Health Services
- During the summer months, a Health Clinic with a certified nurse and doctor available on site can provide emergency and first aid support. An AED is on site. Most summer staff are certified with Standard First Aid and CPR-C.
