KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Here are 4 unique things happening at this Scouter Conference. We hope you will plan to participate!

  1. URBAN SCOUTING: OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN THE CITY – SUBMISSIONS WELCOME

Toronto is an amazing place for Outdoor Adventure, but finding the places that are exciting AND safe can be a real challenge. We will show you where you can find OAS in the City! If you have a place or places to add to this list, please email Chris Case.

  2. CANADIAN PATH IN ACTION – SCOUTER PARENTS: BRING YOUR REGISTERED YOUTH MEMBERS!

We are planning to showcase "the Canadian Path in Action" and need Youth to participate! So, Scouter Parents, join us at the Conference and bring your Registered Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Vents and they can get involved in Canadian Path Activities while you are checking out the Sessions and Exhibitor Areas.

  3. CAMP GEAR EXCHANGE – PAYING IT FORWARD NEVER FELT SO GOOD!

Does your Scout Storage Room contain Camp Gear that is under-utilized? There are many new Scout Groups springing up across Toronto who need Gear. We will take your gently used Tents, Pots, Pans, Kitchen Utensils, Plates, Cups, Cutlery, Stoves, Lanterns, Tarps Packs, until 12 Noon. At 1 PM, Groups will be invited to select the Gear they require to be able to enhance their Camping Adventures! Gear left over will be delivered to Woodland Trails for shared use!

  4. BADGE TRADING 101 – HELP US INTRODUCE YOUTH TO THIS EXCITING SCOUTING ACTIVITY!

Do you have too many crests or doubles from past events? DONATE YOUR EXTRA SCOUT BADGES AND CRESTS and we will use them to make Starter Packs for Youth attending the Scouter Conference. Crest Donations will be accepted at Registration!

Scouts Canada, the country’s leading youth organization, offers challenging programs for boys, girls and youth age 5-26 in thousands of individual groups in most cities and towns across Canada.
